Troubling Words

These are all words I have trouble understanding or whose definitions never stick in my mind for very long. Sometimes there are interesting reasons, to do with ambiguity, or subjectivity, or even in some cases, numinosity. Often it's just that I'm in cognitive decline and bad at remembering things… or I'd like to fall back on that explanation; in reality, it's always been this way for me.
